The Land of Val de Salm and the Sources de l'Ourthe

Vielsalm and Gouvy are situated in the heart of the Haute Ardenne at 450m high, the higher point is the Baraque Fraiture on the community of Vielsalm at 652m, well-known for its ski-run.

Their positions at the North of the Province of Luxembourg is profitable, next to the Province of Liège, not far from the Coo's Waterfalls and the Remouchamps's caves. The border of the Grand-Duché du Luxembourg is at 20km from Vielsalm and only at 5km from Gouvy.

Gouvy and Vielsalm are two communities whose several towns have an important architectural and cultural patrimony, castles, churches you must discover thanks to the tourist office's marked out walks. You'll find there a lot of shelters, family hotels and gastronomic restaurants. The nature reserves invite you to appreciate a rich and diversified nature.
