Hotton had had the favours from the nature and owes its setting's beauty to the alliance of water and stone. The Ourthe crosses the entity from South-East to North-West on a distance of 16km.

The streams are numerous and nearly each town has water points such as fountains, pumps, springs, well, The water had hollowed the limestone subsoil to form a huge number of caves and crevices, and one of them is the caves "Mille et une nuits".

The limestone and the blue stones are an important part of the habitat. The "rue Haute" is a nice example.

Several big volumes in limestone, which date from the 18th century, follow one other.

The "Oneux island", big prairie on the heart of the town, incites to walk and to release you thanks to an original plane area.
